"Super Pinoy" Komiks Event at SM BF

Celebrating 15 Years of KOMIKON!!!


Did you know that SM City BF Paranaque invited Komikon for an Independence Day celebration called "Super Pinoy"?

It was from June 2 to 12, 2018. There was an exhibit of different local comic book characters. Talks and workshops were held. Invited speakers were Ivyree Rosario, Ariel Atienza, Lyndon Gregorio, Carlo San Juan, Pol Medina Jr. Mervin Malonzo and Julius Villanueva, Mel Casipit, Ardie Aquino, Carlo Vergara, and Andrew Villar. They gave an area where artists can sell their comics.

I remember this event very well, there were not much people but the event was well organized and that we really felt they want to promote Komiks, Indie Komiks in particular which is really great.
