Naimbitahan akong mag-judge sa Poster Making Contest na ginanap sa Alaminos City, Pangasinan noong Marso 27, 2019. Ang event ay inisponsoran ng Alaminos City Water District. Tema ng event ay "Whoever you are, wherever you are, water is your human right".  Bihira lang akong maimbita para mag-judge sa poster making contest. Nakakatuwang isipin na dati-rati ako ang sumasali ngayon naman ako ang magjujudge. Naalala ko nonng ako ay nag-aaral pa sa elementarya at High School madalas ay 2nd or 3rd place ang nakukuha ko. Ang dami kasing magagaling na artist sa iba-ibang schools sa Pangasinan.  Alaminos City Hall Don Leopoldo Sison Convention Center  Loob ng Leopoldo Sison Convention Center Mga entry sa poster making contests Iba pang entry sa poster making contest.  There was a time when I did some fan arts on comic backing boards. This is one of them. Then the blank covers came. I used pens and markers for this fan art with gray kure color.

Book 3 ng Mukat. Ito na yung huling DIY book bind ko nung college. Mas active ako noong 3rd year kesa 4th year. Naging busy na kasi sa thesis,school paper at student government. Naisip ko nga andami kong ginagawa nung college pati na rin paintngs, noon ako naging active. Salamat sa lahat ng nakapagbasa ng Mukat komiks ko at nag-appreciate ngayong naipost ko ito sa aking personal fb. Hindi pa ito tapos hanggang ngayon, pero pangako kong tatapusin ko ito. Mukat Serye. Ito naman yung pangalawang "Mukat" Komiks na ginawa ko. Sinimulan ko itong gawin mga 4th year high school hanggang college. Nailabas ko na rin ito sa mga Komikon. Ang kopyang ito ay ang photocopied version.  Tulad ng mga una kong naipost, DIY din ang cover at binding ng komiks ko. Lumang kalendaryo ang cover paper para makapal. Pen and Ink with colored pencils saka mga cut-out sa AOL magazine para sa mga kunwating graphics.  Kaya ko pinaphotocopy ang komiks ko dahil may mga humiram ng komiks ko, nung panahon na iyon, original art pa ang pinabasa ko, hindi na isoli sa akin ng matagal yung komiks. Kaya nung bumalik sa akin ang kopya, pina-xerox ko na lang ng clear copy, at yun ang binook bind ko ko at pinabasa. Tinago ko na lang yung original art para di na maulit o mawala yung copy. Hanggang ngayon buhay pa yung original ng mga ito.  Ginawa ko itong cover art mga 2004 - 2005. Tingin ko ito yung era ko sa pag-gawa ng komiks na sobrang sipag kong gumawa. Malaking ba

Limited lang ang budget ko noong college. Kaya DIY pa lahat. Gumawa ako ng komiks sariling book-binding sa photocopied pages. Sa cover, gumamit ako ng lumang calendaryo kasi makapal ang papel nun. Doon ko drinowing itong cover art at back cover. Pen and ink plus faber castel colored pencils. Syempre para legit kailangan ng price, kunwari at texts. Gumupit ako sa mga magazine ng pwede ko idagdag sa cover pati barcode hahaha na dapat sa likod pala. Siguro 2004 or 2005 ko ito ginawa.  Di pa ako marunong sa Photoshop. Wala akong access sa computer maliban sa school. Maarte  rin ang photocopy samin ayaw nila ng back to back 🙁 pero ayos lang at least nakagawa ako ng komiks na pwede ko ipabasa sa mga kaklase ko. #komikslife #mukat #mukatman

 PM PM NA LANG MUNA by Mel Casipit Acrylic on Canvas 36x24 inches We are now living at a different time, where it is not uncommon to stay at home and isolate. The government and medical personnel highly encourage it to prevent the spread of the virus. We connect to others via technology. We use social media apps specifically to communicate with our friends and family. We use apps to order food, pay rent and do banking. Some use apps to play games to pass the time until everything is back to normal. This artwork is part of the BISKEG Pangasinan Artist Collective Group Show titled "PHASED OUT"

 Ang una kong Komikon 2006, same year kung kelan ako grumaduate. Wala akong pic sa mismong con kaya grad picture na lang. Sumali ako sa Comic Strip Making contest, nanalo ako pero di ko nakuha yung prize ko kasi umuwi ako ng maaga.  Pagkatapos ng una kong Komko, taun-taon na ako umaattend sa mga Komikon.  December 2006 rin ako nagsimulang magtrabaho sa Manila from Pangasinan.  #KomikonPH15Years #KomikonPH #MyFirstKomikonPH

They were given time to hold 2 panels about comics. The first panel was with Leinil Yu and Harvery Tolibao. 2nd year high school ako, 14 years old. Habang bumibili ako ng art materials sa paborito naming bilihan, nakita ko ang isang pocket book na walang sulat linya, blank pages lang.  Noong panahong yun mahilig akong magbasa ng komiks at gusto kong makagawa ng sarili kong komiks. Binili ko yung pocket book at nagsimula akong gumawa ng sarili kong Komiks. "Mukat" ang title ng komiks ko. Unang version. Iba pa ito sa Mukat na nailabas ko na sa mga komiks convention. Mukat ang una kong natapos na komiks. Action adventure ito, parang dragon ball at ghost fighter, super robot, rpg, lahat ng media na naeexpose ako nailalagay ko sa komiks. Fun times. #komiksLife
